SmartHouse Heating and Cooling was originally founded and operated under the name “Home Green Home” in St. Louis, with a vision to become the area’s industry leader in home efficiency. We started by providing professional home energy audits and home energy improvements such as insulating, air sealing, and high performance heating & cooling system installation.
In order to provide the most benefit to our customers, we decided to expand our services to include all areas of repairs and maintenance for air conditioning and heating. Thus, the SmartHouse brand was born, so you’ll feel that our knowledge, training, and positive attitude toward service and business ethics make us the “Smart Choice” for all of your heating, cooling, efficiency, and comfort needs.
Our multidisciplinary team, consisting of licensed heating and cooling technicians, certified building performance analysts, envelope & shell experts, nationally certified energy raters, and LEED APs, was the “go-to” source for homeowners, architects and builders across St. Louis.
However, it soon became clear that our friends, families, and neighbors were being underserved in their day-to-day needs related to heating, cooling, and insulation. We saw our customers being subjected to questionable sales tactics and falling victim to ill-conceived recommendations. Advances in technology were being ignored. Even basics such as quality craftsmanship were in short supply.
Because we have filled our ranks with technicians that understand how a whole home is supposed to operate, we can be sure we are providing our customers with the best heating, cooling, and efficiency improvements possible. But beyond our technical knowledge and ability, we want to operate as an upstanding business that provides an honest, trustworthy, and transparent service to our customers.
