Decided to be proactive and replace my 24 year old central air conditioner before it quit during a heat wave. SmartHouse sent out Specialist Tim the same day I called. He answered all my questions, took measurements, fully explained my options and gave me quotes on 2 replacement models. We accepted one bid and were able to schedule the install for the very next day. Because our appointment filled the last opening in their installation schedule, Tim gave us a sizable discount. Ryan and his install crew arrived on time the next day, explained everything, completed the install and gave me another discount for paying with a check. It was a very easy, quick, and professional experience. Thanks to SmartHouse I now have piece of mind for many cooling seasons to come.

Marc was very knowledgeable about the heat pump system I wanted to be installed. The team went out of their way to make sure my wife understood the app and how to control the new system. They installed a properly sized return air duct and took their time making sure everything looked good as well as performed flawlessly. Jay is very friendly and worked hard on my house. I have no complaints about him. But right after I cleaned up all the mess due to the attic work (Jay offered to do but I told him I would do), the system failed again. I am certainly very frustrated. The system is only two years old. How can it have so many problems when it is supposed to last for more than l0 years.

We called Smart House for a second opinion after another HVAC company told us the circuit panel needed to be replaced for $900 or we might consider replacing the entire furnace. Smart House got to us the same day we called them, found a short in the wiring to our humidistat, rewired a few wires and got us up and running in an hour. Our HVAC system was replaced by SmartHouse in the late-summer of 2023. They serviced the units earlier last week as part of a pre-paid semi-annual maintenance program. Yesterday, we noticed the upstairs unit wasn’t working. Even though it was a holiday weekend, they dispatched an on-call technician to diagnose and correct the problem before the upstairs got too cold. We couldn’t be happier with SmartHouse!

The Installation of a new furnace and AC unit was accomplished with professionalism, competency, and the highest level of craftsmanship. They had to first take out a 25+ year old system, and obviously all of the various lines, pipings and sheet metal ductwork we’re not about to line up with the more modern, compact and advanced system. But they reconfigured everything beautifully, on budget and on time. I recommend them highly.
